About Food & Mood
Food & Mood offers nutrition counseling, mental health support, and wellness education. Founder and Registered Dietitian, Holly DeLong, chose to leave a successful career in corporate HR after realizing some critical gaps in the healthcare system. While navigating her way through a personal health crisis, she discovered the power of functional medicine. Using a holistic approach, she was able to get to the root cause of her issues and support her body to heal itself. She now helps other people transform their health through her virtual, insurance-based, private practice. Specialties include (but are not limited to) gut health, mental health, autoimmune, and metabolic conditions. Holly is a certified gastrointestinal dietitian, with advanced training in mind-body medicine, SIBO, PCOS, disordered eating, and nutragenomics. She holds certificates in the low FODMAP diet and Intuitive Eating.
As a speaker and writer, Holly passionately shares her message about the power of holistic medicine. She offers presentations and talks at a variety of events both virtually and in-person. She has also been featured by several media outlets and is available for podcasts and freelance writing.
In 2020, Holly developed a workplace wellness offering in response to the challenges brought on by the pandemic. It has since grown to be a multi-faceted program helping transform organizations from the inside out. By leveraging her combined expertise in human resources and functional medicine, Food & Mood brings a unique perspective to the corporate wellness space.
